Power / Energy

This sector is as a major development area in Ireland. Wind and solar farms are becoming more numerous. Ireland is expected to become a net exporter to energy.

While power energy sites have low ground impact, their connections to the national grid form extensive linear developments. These linear developments are frequently subject to archaeological constraints. Designing preferred route options is part of our input to the planning process. With other disciplines we draft archaeological contracts as well as providing management and reviews of them. We undertake directly all aspects of field and site archaeology involved.
